Blood circulation, bones, cells, benefit from their
properties, help in skin, care to combat the wrinkles and to avoid the aging.
There are two types of muds: the mire or mud and the clay. The natural
hábitat of the mud is the bottom of the seas or lakes with a great load of
organic elements: "detritus", while we found the clays in the hearth. Both
of them are a minerals mixture, depending its color on the predominant mineral.
The therapeutic mud that is the one that interests us, belongs to the thermal
mires. It is very effective in the fight against the wrinkles, since it provides
magnesium, copper and zinc (producers of colagen and elastina) and silicon. All
these elements slow the process of aging of the cells, revitalizing them and
strenghtening the tension of the skin and the delicate muscles of the face.
The
mud also reduces the flabbiness and acts against the grooves and cellulitis,
etc. Besides revitalizing, the mire eliminates the sludges and it even softens
areas so rough as knees, elbows and feet. Also, it possesses the particularity
of absorbing substances and dead cells deposited in the epidermis, and it
carries out a deep cleaning that oxygenates and liberates the skin from toxins.
The volcanic mires, on the other hand, have multiple and interesting
applications in cosmetic. Those coming from Monte Catini (Italy) favuor the
regeneration of the epidermis, nurturing it and suplying all the oligoelementos
that it needs.
Another example of extraordinary volcanic muds is the source of Tierras del
Volcan (Tunuyán. Argentina). The volcan, currently is resting, has two thermal
sources, one in its interior and another 1 Km. away. The waters flow at 23º C
and through their extensive trajectory, get enriched with sulfur and magnesium.
Other important mires are the marines. Also known as slime, they are compound
for all kinds of silts, microorganisms animal and vegetables oligoelements. One
of their main characteristics is the hygroscopicity, to say, their great
capacity of water absorption that makes them ideal for the plasters application.
