THE THERMAL VILLAGES AND THE HEALTHY ROUTES, IN THE FIRST SEMINAR OF THERMALISM IN PERU.

"The Thermal Village as dynamistic factor of the Thermal Tourism" and the "Perspectives of the Tourism of Health as tourist product obtained through the design of Thermal Routes as therapy to combat the estrés" will be presented next week, in the First National Seminar of Thermalism, organized by the Viceminister of Tourism of Peru and the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation (AECI). Specialists in thermal tourism and enviroment from Spain, will participate in the first scientific experience where the Pilot Proyect of Cajamarca will be analyzed.

 

The Vice Minister of Tourism, Ramiro Salas Bravo, will inaugurate the day 6 of March the First National Seminar of Thermalism "Thermal Tourism in the Peru. A possibility of Development." The act will take place in Cajamarca, included in the activities programmed in the Project "Integral strengthening of the Tourism in Perú ?FIT Perú"-, whose object is to promote the culture of the water and the thermal riches of the Andean country.

Professionals of the health and representatives of the tourist sector, local and cultural institutions as well as local entities and social agents, will converse with the European specialists to analyze the thermal resources of the country and of the district of Baths of the Inca in Cajamarca.

The Program " Development of the Thermalism in the Peru". Isabel Mendoza Navarro, Directora de Normatividad y Supervision de la Dirección Nacional de Desarrollo Turístico, will open the scientific session. The environmental impact in a thermal area and the preventive aspects and conservation for the improvement of the sustainable environment, will be another of the topics proposed by Juan Malo de Molina, enviromental expert and director of Econima.

The specialist in Thermal Tourism, Mayte Suárez Santos, will inform about the importance of the thermal villages as a project of integral urbanísm, with solutions on bioclimátic design and harmony of the whole meeting the social demands. A concept of sustainable thermal city that is imposed in the Europe of the new millennium.

The director of Consulting TermasWorld, has been invited to participate in this first experience where acquires special protagonism the city of Cajamarca that has been defined by the spanish specialist as the "Thermal Village of the Incas."

Located in the north circuit of Peru, Cajamarca constitutes a key region for the tourist development, with competitive advantages in market segments that are projected as those of more growth in the sector.

A committee multisectorial, promoteded by the Viceministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, it is carrying out combined actions in order to increase the possibilities of this natural attractiveness. The Baths of the Inca have an excellent quality and quantity of thermo-medicinal water with important healing properties. They are extremely medicinal waters, specially suitable for rheumatic illnesses and treatment of the skin. Also for nervous affections.

To promote the thermal resources of the district of Baths of Inca in Cajamarca through a sustainable tourist circuit, it constitutes one of the high-priority actions of the Proyecto Piloto of Cajamarca that has the support of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation (AECI).

In this sense, an official delegation of the Czech Republic visited by the middle of July the place to carry out a technical evaluation of the quality of the thermal waters, in accordance with an agreement between the Peruvian and Czech governments.
